From 31st october to 3rd november the FENESTRATION BAU China – one of the leading trade fairs for the window-, door- and conservatory industry – took place. Once again, Klaes was represented with an impressive booth and was a central point of contact for many trade visitors. On four days of the fair, we were able to welcome long-standing Klaes customers as well as many new customers from all over China – as well as visitors from Mongolia, South Korea, Vietnam, Indonesia and India. We were particulary pleased about the positive feedback and the high level of satisfaction that our customers repeatedly told us during the fair.

In 2018, the newly developed space for new construction in China will be around 2 billion square meters. This makes the chinese building industry – without any doubt – currently the world’s largest market. In addition to the government-sponsored environmental protection and a new generation of consumers who value sustainable living, the industry is undergoing an extensive industrial modernization. This is also favored by the initiative “Made in China 2025” (like “Industry 4.0” in Germany), which is also supported by the government. All this makes software an increasingly important component in China.
